Location: Mile Post 316 ~ Right at the Linville Falls turn off Fields of Sunshine ~ Beauty is everywhere on the Blue Ridge Parkway! We were cruising past the Linville Falls turn off when we found this field of gold. It was too pretty to pass up.

Location: Linville Falls, milepost 316 This image of Linville Falls was taken from the gorge which is my personal favorite view of the falls. The trail down to into the gorge is rated strenuous but it’s only 0.8 mile long and well maintained so it’s not too difficult, just a little steep.
