This is the fence across from the red barn between Sim’s Pond and Julian Price Park – Milepost 295. I’ve always enjoyed these old split rail fences.

Camera: Nikon D7100
Lens: Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
Focal Length: 11mm
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/4
Aperture: 16
Filters: None
Exposure: Manual
How I Got This Shot: I felt a portrait orientation would better serve this image, so I setup my tripod accordingly. I adjusted until the setting sun was just between the uprights of this old split rail fence. To get the starburst effect, I used a small aperture (f/16).
