Location: Yellow Face Overlook, Milepost 450 on the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Sylva, North Carolina. From this overlook southward until the end of the Parkway in Cherokee, North Carolina, the mountains you see are the Great Smokies.

How I Got This Shot: I was driving up the Blue Ridge Parkway via Sylva, NC for a look at the sunset. When I got up there it was pouring rain. I eventually turned around at Yellow Face Overlook and was gifted this beautiful rainbow.
