I took this photo with my iPhone on the way to Wintergreen Resort. I just love the gorgeous mountain scenery in the winter!

How I Got This Shot: To get this shot, I made sure to stand in a spot where the sun was partially blocked by a tree. Otherwise, the image would have been too bright. I framed the image to include the long shadows in order to create greater depth and variety of color. I also split the image evenly between ground and sky because I liked the similarities between the white ice and the white cloud. It was a beautiful day!
