Hi folks! This site was founded by a photographer and writer who loves Appalachia, so sharing a passion for the region through pics and prose has been our method from Day 1. Our goal is to get you as much exposure as possible while keeping your work the main attraction. Of course, we have to keep our standards and viewership high, so contributions may be edited or not used at the discretion of the editorial team for any reason.
Daily Pics
Amateur and pro photographers can contribute Daily Pics to be featured on both this website and our social accounts with over 45,000 fans. We post images in-season (spring shots in the spring, summer shots in the summer, etc.) We know exposure (the publicity kind) is important to you pros, so Daily Pics will include the photographer’s name, a link to the photographer’s website, and an image caption. If Search Engine Optimization is important to you, feel free to use targeted “anchor text” in your website link.

Photo Tips
Our Photo Tips section is a great place to share your knowledge of photography and the Parkway. Use our Pic Submission Form to include your image information like equipment, exposure, and how you got the image.
Other Images
We are constantly on the look out for great Parkway images. Visitor Centers, wildlife, camping spots, etc. If we use your image, we will gladly give you credit with a link to your website if you want. Use the Pic Submission Form.

All blog post types require a 300-word minimum unless otherwise noted below. Please include any relevant biographical information that you would like published along with your post.

The Appalachian Tale

Photo Tips
Send us sample images from the Parkway and describe how you got the image. Please give any relevant information that would help another photographer accomplish the sample image you provide. Location, equipment, exposure info, etc. Email to tips@blueridgeparkwaydaily.com.
