Location: Linn Cove Viaduct – Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 304
This was taken on October 10, 2013. The colors are really showing nicely around Grandfather Mountain.

How I Got This Shot: This shot was taken on the right side just above the parkway, before you get onto the viaduct. There is a well worn path to this perch above the parkway.I love this vantage point showing the viaduct as is snakes it’s way around the mountain. In the distance the prominent peaks are Table Rock And Hawksbill Mountains in the Linville Gorge area.
