Cycling the Parkway near Asheville

by Willis Norman Photography

"Cycling the Parkway near Asheville" by Willis Norman Photography

Location: 20 miles north of Asheville
I was driving down the parkway toward Asheville in the morning when this red-clad biker rode by me. I pulled over and got this shot.

Camera: Canon 60D
Lens: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM
Focal Length: 30mm
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60
Aperture: 2.8
Filters: None
Exposure: Manual
How I Got This Shot: I quickly set up my tripod on the guard rail and aimed the camera down to this angle so that the lines would lead to the biker. It was about 8:00 in the morning, so the direct sunlight had not appeared, but the sky gave enough light to get a shot.
