Sun made a grand entrance amid the normal morning contrails. Wilson Creek Overlook is at Milepost 303 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
Photographer's Message
Needed the SkyView app to locate the spot of this sunrise. Many of us were looking in the wrong direction until about 15 seconds before the sun crested the horizon. Summer growth gave us a narrow view to the northeast of our viewing angle. Glad we had the right tools! Shot this at f/5 at 185mm.
