How I Got This Shot: We started out our morning well before the sun came up in search of a vibrant sunrise with some fall foliage. We were greeted with cold rain and fog so solid you couldn’t see a few feet ahead of you. We ended up heading to Pisgah Inn for breakfast and then over to Graveyard Fields to see how the color was coming along. This is the scene we were greeted with, Graveyard Fields is currently at peak color. We pulled over on the side of the road and I set up my tripos, kept my lens partially covered with a cloth and took a few images.
